Dingdong and Marian attend
‘San Mig Light Party All Night’

Real-life couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera have led a toast to a good life with like-minded party lovers during the first-ever "San Mig Light Party All Night" on Friday at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The 12-hour marathon club music event was loaded with nothing less but the best entertainment package, which includes laser light shows, mirror dancers, pole dancers, and fashion shows, featuring celebrities Iwa Motto and Ide Favio, with foreign male and female models, plus a bevy of eye candies including Isabelle Oli.

Also highlighting the occasion was the arrival of top UK-based Matt Darey, one of the pioneers in today’s dance scene, who shared for the first time with Filipino clubbers his own brand of house, trance, breaks and progressive music among his other hits.

Darey, who has sold over two million copies of his singles and albums worldwide, performed with Malaysia-based DJ John Boy and our very own Karl Ty.

San Mig Light has also given aspiring disc jockeys an opportunity to showcase their talents on the turntable by also holding the Inter-university DJ Competition, on top of the prestige of performing on the same roof with their idol DJs Darey, Lee, and Ty.

Mike Arce Ignacio, representative of the Ateneo de Manila University bested other contenders from the University of the Philippines Diliman, La Salle College of St. Benilde and Mapua Institute of Technology.

Ignacio received a cash prize of P35,000, a gig in White Avenue at Tomas Morato in Quezon City, and a free party package from San Mig Light.

Cash prizes plus LCD televisions and cell phones were also raffled off to partygoers.

The San Mig Light Party All Night fever will continue in Cagayan de Oro on July 24 to 25 and in Cebu on August 28 to 29.
