Isuzu ‘Radikal’ on 4-leg test-drive tours
Isuzu Philippines Corp. recently launched the latest edition for its D-Max line-up, called "Radikal," through a simple ceremony followed by a test drive at a specially designed course at SM Iloilo City.
IPC also introduced a more affordable entry-level D-Max, the 4x4 LT which has all the capabilities of an off-roader pickup.
Available starting this month are the Radikal editions of the D-Max Boondock 4x4 and the D-Max 4x4 LS, as well as the new D-Max 4x4 LT standard edition.
The Radikal-edition package which is available on the Boondock 4x4 and the 4x4 LS, includes an under-grille cover, taillamp guard, bed liner, scuff plates, and interior floor and keyhole illumination.
Also added on the Boondock 4x4 Radikal are Euro-design roll bars and a multifunction clinometer.
The 4x4 LS Radikal, meanwhile, also gets a navigation-ready 2-DIN audio/video head unit that features a seven-inch touch-screen display, 5.1 digital surround sound system, and iPod and Bluetooth connectivity.
The 4x4 LT standard edition, for its part, boasts a new instrument cluster graphic with orange illumination, sporty over-fenders, limited slip differential, cup holders for the center console, and bed liner (on limited units only).
The D-MAX Radikal edition is also available as a 4x2 unit.
The test-drive events showcase challenges and obstacles designed to highlight the D-Max’s off-road superiority.
Three more test drive tours are lined up: Isuzu Bacolod on July 23-24 (BREDCO on Simplicio Palanca Ave. corner Rizal St. in Bacolod City); Isuzu Cagayan de Oro on July 30 to31 (SM City on Masterson Ave. corner Gran Via St. in Pueblo de Oro); and Isuzu Davao on August 7 to 8 (SM City at the Future Development Site on Quimpo Blvd. in Davao City).
"The new Radikal edition makes the already attractive D-Max pickup even more appealing to those looking for powerful, durable and dependable workhorses that are also stylish enough for urban use," said IPC president Ryoji Yamazaki. "We’re confident that the 4x4 test-drive events that we’ve prepared for our valued customers will prove this."
The Radikal 4x2 LS MT is priced at P 1.14 million while the 4x2 LS AT is P1.2 million.
The Radikal 4x4 LS MT is P 1.37 million while the 4x4 LS AT is P1.43 million. The new Boondock Radikal edition M/T is priced at P 1.39 million while the entry-level 4x4 LT has a price tag P 1.13 million.
