FASHION, beauty and charity converge at the grand atrium of the Mall of Asia with the opening of the 2010 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines and Ambassadors for Life photo exhibit.
This annual project of the Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) in partnership with the Camera Club of the Philippines (CCP) and Mall of Asia will have the exhibit available for viewing until September 3.
The most stunning individuals who were selected to grace this year’s event made it to the list based on their exemplary performance in their respective fields. This monumental celebration of cancer-awareness and prevention, beauty and compassion to be held on Sept. 21 at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La is headed by honorary chairman and philanthropist Imelda Ongsiako Cojuangco, event chairman Angola consul Helen Ong and committee members Monaco consul general Fortune Ledesma, Jayelles president Roselle Rebano, TV host and society columnist Johnny Litton, Asia’s fashion czar Pitoy Moreno and PCS chairman doctor Roberto Paterno. Style icons for 2010 are Manila representative Naida Angping and movie producer Via Marquez Hoffmann. Best dressed awardees are top model Apples Aberin, Cebu’s pride Iris Fernan Arcenas, restaurateur Beng Dee, beauty consultant/entrepreneur Khristine Gabriel, beauty expert Charade Galang, banker Betchay Santos Monserrat, businesswoman Happy Ongpauco-Tiu, socialite Heloise H. Romualdez, doctor Anna Palabyab Rufino, doctor Susannah Ong Salvador and CPA and socialite Salome Uy while ambassadors for life are Mabel Abaño, Annabelle Adriano, Rose Basa, Chit Bautista, Tess Castro, Aficionado Germany Perfume president and chief executive officer Joel Cruz, Roy Gonzales, Baby de Jesus, Muebles Italiano’s Noel Gonzales, Mars Lambino, doctor Jimmy Laya, Nini Layug, lawyer Gilda Lim, Kim Lokin, Thess Manganti, Marge Ortiz Luis, Mitzi Piad and Pitang Tiongson.
