‘Starstruck V’: Striking
"Starstruck V" council members Iza Calzado, Lolit Solis and Floy Quinto chose a good-looking bunch for this season’s Final 14.
Steven Silva, Sef Cadayona, Piero Vergara, Ian Batherson, Enzo Pineda, Rya Burgos, Rocco Nacino are the boys who made it to the final cut, while Diva Montelaba, Finaca Cruz, Sarah Lahbati, Princess Snell, Rox Montealegre, Nina Kodaka and Zeryl Lim are the seven lucky girls.
Now, the real trial starts as they have to survive 13 weeks of grueling workshops, challenges and artista tests where they have to prove that they are more than just pretty faces. Aside from facing the council, the 14 shall be handled by mentors who will scrutinize and give them pointers: Abbygale Arenas for imaging, Gina Alajar for acting, Douglas Nierras for dancing, Jai Sabas-Aracama for singing and Barbi Chan for make up and styling.
During the press presentation of the Final 14, "Starstruck V" host Raymond Gutierrez, who has been hosting the reality-based talent search since season 3, agreed that this year’s batch is made up of several lookers. There are several standouts in the bunch, including an Atenista, he noted.
"Of all the batches, this year is really the most good-looking," he exclaimed on stage.
Dennis Trillo and Carla Abellana join Raymond as main host of the show. Segment hosts are Mark Herras, LJ Reyes, Arci Munoz and Paolo Avelino.
"Starstruck V" airs Saturdays right after "Pinoy Records" and Sundays after "Kap’s Amazing Stories," while "StarStruck Shout Out" airs Mondays to Fridays after "Chika Minute Explosive" on GMA.
