Gabby returns as a Kapamilya

THE original and hottest matinee idol of the ‘80s is finally back as Gabby Concepcion returns to the Philippines to once again take center stage and regain the spotlight he left 13 years back.

Leaving his life in the United States, Gabby arrived last Sunday to start anew here in the country with much determination to have his highly anticipated comeback-readily and bravely facing the controversies and challenges ahead of him.

One of the most controversial actors in his time, Gabby starred in 60 movies opposite high caliber actors such as the hit flicks "Pangako ng Puso" and "Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin."

He is considered one of the most bankable and favorite leading men in the industry, in the likes of Aga Muhlach, Albert and William Martinez.

An original Regal baby, he has won numerous acting awards such as the Gawad Urian Award for Best Actor for the films "Narito ang Puso Ko," "Hahamakin Lahat" and "Pahiram ng Isang Umaga."

It was in the year 1995 when this much-awarded actor left the country in his prime and migrated to the US where he became a very successful real estate broker and was even included in the top 10 brokers in California.

After years of silence, and due to the demand of his loyal supporters, Gabby finally returns to the entertainment world. His television comeback in the multi-awarded drama series "Maalaala Mo Kaya" is currently in the works, and he is also set to do a movie with Star Cinema.

Though there are no specific details yet, Gabby says he is very much elated and thrilled to be back in the Philippines and to receive such a warm welcome from the Filipino people.

Watch out for more of Gabby’s comeback appearances and performances on his one and only Kapamilya, ABS-CBN.
