LOS ANGELES— Oscar winning actor Sean Penn and his wife
actress Robin Wright Penn have withdrawn their divorce petition
filed in December, a court document posted on celebrity Web site
TMZ.com showed on Wednesday.
The request to dismiss the divorce, filed one day earlier in
Superior Court of California in Marin County north of San
Francisco, shows the withdrawal was made "without prejudice."
A spokeswoman for Penn declined to comment, and no further
details were available.
Sean Penn, 47, and Robin Wright Penn, 42, were married for 11
years before they first filed for divorce. They have two
children.
He has enjoyed a long acting career in movies and won the
best actor Oscar for his leading role in 2003’s "Mystic River."
He also is a director whose most recent film, "Into the Wild,"

She rose to prominence in the 1980s, and has starred in
recent movies such as "Beowulf" and "What Just Happened?" which
