Dining by the bay

The Manila Bay area unlocks a treasure trove of memories like the sunset and fresh air, Sunday walks in the park with the family and for some, buying fresh seafood at the Seaside area and having it cooked dampa style.

Enjoy the seaside gastronomic experience beside the SM Mall of Asia at San Miguel by the Bay, a partnership with San Miguel Corporation and Leisure Ventures Corporation. It was developed with the idea of having a Bora-like gimmick centrum within the streets of the metro with a 1.5 kilometer stretch and approximately 90,000 square meters in land area. It has a promenade, a baywalk park and lush landscape areas.

At the heart of the location is the Aqua Lumina dancing fountain, which showcases a musical show with a light and water symphony every 30 minutes starting at 6 p.m.

One of the attractions is a strip of restaurants facing Manila Bay called the Seafood Village. Diners can pick the freshest catch of the day at the wet market and have it cooked according to one’s liking in restaurants at the village strip.

Asian cuisines are some of the bestsellers at the restaurants. Guests can have their crabs and prawns cooked in garlic, chili, szechuan, tempura, or sweet and sour flavors. The following restaurants are on the strip: Balaghay, Trinity, Aling Tonya’s, Sis Rose, Aling Mahsah, Atcha’s Grill, Bahia, Baywok, Berks, Dad and Mom, Doris, G-Squared, and Claire de la Fuente. Heuy Jing, Julie’s, Norberto’s , Robbie’s Shylin, Sis the Original and Stardish transform seafood choices to signature dishes.

The Seafood Village in San Miguel by the Bay is located at the By the Bay Leisure Park, Seaside Blvd., SM Mall of Asia Complex.
