The idea of owning and caring for a personal garden while living in a Makati high-rise might be unimaginable to some people. But at the soon-to-rise Eton Parkview Greenbelt, this dream will become a reality with its newest feature – the loft garden units.

Developed by Lucio Tan-owned Eton Properties Philippines, Inc., the 33-story all-loft condominium tower will incorporate in its design a set of premium units that have balcony-style gardens.

Located on the amenities floor of the structure, the garden units will offer future residents both the pleasures of a private garden and the luxury of a modern condo home.

"We are always trying to find ways to improve on the traditional condominium concept at EPPI. First, we came up with the all-loft concept and now the idea of owning a garden within a condo will soon be a reality," said Eton AVP for business development Jonathan Caro.

Caro said that 12 garden units will be built on the 8th floor of the condo tower, with areas ranging from 45 square meter to 80 square meter, completing the overall layout of the Eton Parkview Greenbelt. The garden units also complement the verdant ambiance offered by the Washington Sycip and Legaspi parks fronting the condo located along Gamboa St. in Legazpi Village, Makati.

Set to be implemented by Casison N. Santiago Inc., the architectural firm tapped by EPPI to design the condo tower, the garden units’ balcony style offers both privacy and added space to entertain family and guests, and allows the unit owners to flex their green thumbs and cultivate their favorite flora.

"The modern design of the flower boxes will be fitted with a special drain system to ensure that the soil and water do not clog up. Plus the position of the gardens in the building’s layout also maximizes exposure to sunlight and even rain," added Caro.

Aside from the verdant feature, garden unit owners will also get to enjoy easy access to the tower’s luxury amenities located on the same floor such as a swimming pool, fitness center, and a function room overlooking the pool.
