GET ready for the newest comedy-adventure every Saturday, "Mars Ravelo’s Komiks Presents Kapitan Boom!"

Jon Avila will play the role of Kapitan Boom, the very first fumbling superhero who is able to accomplish his mission through a number of mishaps and disasters. Jay-R Siaboc, who will play the role of Lance, is the shy and normal version of Kapitan Boom. The most in demand love team of the year, Jay-R and Maja Salvador will be seen together again. Maja will play the character of Melody, the smart and independent commercial model who happens to be the love interest of Lance. New talent Marianna del Rillo will be the character of Cheska, bestfriend of Melody who is sexy, innocent but sort of careless when it comes to love.

For the first time, Jon Avila and Marianna del Rillo will work together in a project. They look good together based on what people saw when they had their pictorial and even off cam. It seems like they are a perfect match. Even during tapings, people notice that the two are getting closer.

Marianna states, "Jon is nice and good-looking but I would really like to focus on my career right now. I’m also working on my Tagalog as best as I can for the viewers."

Joining them are veteran actors Gloria Sevilla as Lola Gretch, the protective grandmother; and William Lorenzo as Perry Mercado, a witty inventor and father of Lance. Bembol Roco, on the other hand, will play the role of Hector Domasquinoz, a loving husband and billionaire industrialist.
