ABS-CBN & GMA together
Richard and KC's first
team-up shot in Greece

THEY were born to the limelight. Both have been in the public eye since they were tots. Now 24-year-old Richard Gutierrez, undoubtedly one of the brightest stars in the industry, and 23- year-old KC Concepcion, one of the most scintillating talents in show business, come together to star in a romantic movie. When these two gorgeous individuals share the screen, expect fireworks.

The first team up of Richard and KC will not easily be forgotten. Aside from the fact that this is the first time that the ABS-CBN and GMA 7 have agreed to work together, the two, with their looks and charisma, are a match made in cinema heaven.

"For the First Time" is KC's first movie, Richard's first with Star Cinema and the first Filipino film to be shot in the picturesque island of Santorini in Greece.

It follows the lives of two individuals from very different worlds. Seth (Richard) is a rich, impulsive playboy who runs away from serious relationships and doesn't give much thought to the women he goes out with. Pia (KC), meanwhile, is a prude, ambitious girl who feels responsible for the tragedy that has befallen her life.

It is the story of how love changes people. A rake is transformed into a committed gentleman because of love. And a woman who refuses to fall in love and suppresses her emotions by putting up a front decides to take another chance.

When Seth and Pia meet by accident in Santorini, they spend an unforgettable summer together, until Seth runs away.

In Manila, they are reunited. But will he be able to win Pia? What will prevail: the head or the heart?

"For the First Time," Star Cinema's 15th anniversary presentation, is directed by Joyce Bernal and opening in theaters on August 27.
