BELO Medical Group welcomes multi-talented
actor/director/model Dingdong Dantes as the newest addition to
its powerhouse stable of celebrity endorsers.
Dingdong's grand launch coincided with his
birthday bash, which had a James Bond theme, held at the NBC
Tent at The Fort.
Dingdong's Casino Royale-inspired party was
complete with gaming tables, guns on display, sexy ladies and
even a Martini bar that James Bond is known for - "shaken not
stirred."
An AVP produced by Infinite Ideas showed the
actor in his Agent 007 character, driving a shiny Audi R8,
brandishing slick hand guns, sporting an Omega chronograph
watch, surfing the net in a MacBook-Pro laptop, using the latest
cellphone gadget and getting in the thick of hard-core action.
Bayon Alcoseba of Peppermill Catering
displayed his expertise in preparing sumptuous food in stylized,
buffet setting. Serving as the centerpiece of the table
arrangements is a waterfall of diamonds to complement the James
Bond concept.
Guests indulged in mouth-watering appetizers
consisting of baked whole salmon entrusted in salt and herbs,
grilled shrimp shooters with chipotle butter sauce, beef tacos
parmigiana, chicken burrito wrap, mini-pancakes with smoked
tanguigue and cream cheese. Grapes salad with Cervelat sausage
was also on the buffet table.
Main course consists of baked dory herbs and
spices, shrimp tamales, Argentina pork loin with apricot sauce,
tequila lime chicken with pineapple salsa, fettuccine cream
pesto with smoked chicken and steamed rice.
For the carving station, there was roasted
calf; and for desserts, there were fresh fruits with chantilly
cream, pistachio opera cake, yoghurt gazpacho shooters and hot
fudge brownies.
An actor of Dingdong's stature certainly
deserved the grand welcome from leading cosmetic surgeon and
"Doctor to the Stars," Vicki Belo, who is pleased to add him to
Belo's growing roster of celebrity endorsers.
As Belo's newest signature model, Dingdong
will endorse Belo-Shape, a special and unique combination of
treatments to tighten skin and remove fat. The non-invasive
body-shaping procedure can yield faster and visible results with
far less effort.
Dingdong used to have stubborn love handles
which he couldn't get rid of despite rigid workouts in the gym.
But thanks to Belo-Shape, the actor became the highest paid
underwear model and was voted as the No. 1 Bachelor of 2007 of
Cosmopolitan Magazine.
Dingdong became the "Prince of Philippine
Telenovela" when he starred as Carlos Miguel in "Sana ay Ikaw Na
Nga," one of the most popular primetime dramas of GMA 7 where he
was paired with Tanya Garcia.
He also excelled in the movies opposite prime
leading ladies such as Jolina Magdangal, Rica Peralejo and Judy
Anne Santos. He was also invited to host a number of beauty
pageants and TV shows which includes "Binibining Pilipinas,"
"SOP" and "Starstruck."
In 2005, Dingdong became popular with the
kids and adults alike as King Ybrahim in the fantasy-themed
series, "Encantadia," where he was paired with Karylle. That
same year, he hosted the afternoon horror show "'Wag Kukurap,"
where he also acted as the director in a number of episodes.
In 2006, he was paired with Iza Calzado in
two blockbuster movies - "Moments of Love" and "Eternity." He
had a primetime comeback when he played the lead role as Aquano
in the fantaserye, "Atlantika."
Dingdong became phenomenal last year when he
portrayed the role of Sergio in the Philippine remake of "Marimar"
opposite Marian Rivera.
Presently, Dingdong is making stronger waves
as Fredo in GMA 7's "Dyesebel," the highest-rating primetime
show today. He was recently awarded Most Popular Actor in a
drama-miniseries in the 4
