Last year, finalists to the "Nescafe
Soundskool" had the opportunity to participate in workshops that
culminated in the paradise-island of Boracay. The workshops were
conducted by members of the country’s top bands including
Nescafe endorser Hale, popular band Sugarfree, and Sandwich,
with former Eraserheads drummer Raymund Marasigan.
This year, it has lined up an even more
exciting list of workshops with more of the country’s top
groups. They will also be given the rare chance to jam with
their music idols.
The workshop, of course, is just one of the rewards for this
year’s batch of finalists. That is because, aside from giving
them the chance to be discovered, they will also have the chance
to win P250,000 in cash, a contract with EMI Philippines, and
P150,000-worth of a full band setup for their school if they
emerge as the grand champions of the contest.
