NBC Universal Global Network-owned Asia
channels, Sci Fi, Universal and Hallmark, secured a total of 32
nominations in the upcoming 60th Primetime Emmy Awards,
underscoring the list of quality entertainment available on the
channels.
As a whole, NBC Universal has earned a total
88 Primetime Emmy nominations across their entertainment
properties- entertainment networks, television production
studio, and news organization. In the US, Sci Fi earned nine
nominations for "Tin Man" and five for "Battlestar Galactica."
The US-version of the Universal Channel, USA, earned great
recognition for "Monk." In addition, NBC News received 16
nominations and NBC’s "Sunday Night Football" won three Sports
Emmys in May.
