‘Niteout’ with Sabado Boys

If you’re looking for something fun to do on a Friday or Saturday night, you need look no further than the Music Museum.

The Sabado Boys – Jimmy Bondoc, Luke Mejares, Mike Chan, the human beatbox Myke Salomon, Paolo Santos and Top Suzara– will be there on September 20 and 26 for "Niteout."

Each of the Sabado Boys is talented in their own right. Jimmy, known as El Musikero to local music lovers, burst onto the scene with "Let Me Be the One." The heart-tugging acoustic ballad about the end of a relationship became a monster hit, despite the fact that he recorded it in his bedroom.

Before joining the Sabado Boys, Luke was the front man of the band South Border. Hailed as "King of R&B," Luke has his own take on some of the most popular love songs, making him a favorite of many.

A former mainstay of a popular noontime show, Mike used to perform in front of millions of people every day. He is billed as their romantic balladeer. He is currently working on his latest album with a new image.

Myke performs with the a capella super group the Akafellas. Watch "Niteout" to learn why people dubbed him the human beat box. Myke isn’t just a musician, though. He also enjoys photography.

Paolo was the one who kicked off the acoustic trend in OPM some years back and continues to scale new heights as part of the Sabado Boys. With his hit singles "Moonlight Over Paris" and "Closer," among others, he secured for himself a place in Philippine music history.

Last but definitely not the least, Top Suzara was one of the lead vocalists of Freestyle for many years. He wrote most of their hit singles, including the massive hit single "Before I Let You Go."

Individually, they’re good. But together, they’re dynamite.

One of the most interesting parts of the show will be the one in which each member of the Sabado Boys will perform their chosen song in "American Idol" style. A surprise guest who will act as the judge will comment on their performance. Audiences will want to catch this segment to see Jimmy – who recently served as a guest judge in "Pinoy Dream Academy 2" – receive a dose of his own medicine.

Fast-rising R&B band Urbanation will also be featured as the show’s front act. "Niteout" is directed by Calvin Neria and produced by Live Artists Production, with a script by Noel Ferrer.
