World Sleep Day 2018 month-long celebration

GOLDEN Phoenix Hotel Manila joined for the 3rd time in the World Sleep Day event. The annual event was a call to act on important issues related to sleep and health.The hotel has given sleep a top priority ever since, continually promoting the tagline, “Sleep With Us.”

This year’s theme “Join the Sleep World, Preserve Your Rhythms to Enjoy Life” emphasized on the importance of overall health and well-being in contributing to a better circadian rhythm in the body.  

To celebrate this important event, the hotel installed a bed at the center of the lobby for guests to have a first-hand experience of the signature chiropractic bed. Guests were also encouraged to take their pictures at the bed and be as creative as possible using the hashtags #worldsleepday and #sleepwithus. During the World Sleep Day itself, March 16, 2018, eye masks were given to guests as tokens in hopes of engaging them to get more quality sleep for ideally seven to eight hours to promote healthy sleep every day.

Through these month long activities, the hotel was recognized by World Sleep Society to bethe only official World Sleep Day Delegate from the Philippines. The recognition given will serve as a stage of advancement to even more raise the awareness of healthy sleep that can lead to enhanced well-being and enablepeople to stay productive and efficient the whole day.
