SOME of the country’s brightest and most popular young stars will entertain shoppers during the opening weekend of SM City Baliwag, bringing SM’s entertainment excitement to this bustling Bulacan town.

Stars Records’ Toni Gonzaga topbills the mall’s opening on Friday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m., performing cuts from her latest album, "Love Is." The best of Bulacan’s spectacular fireworks will cap this day of celebration in a Magical Firewords Display at 9 p.m.

The cast of GMA’s "Una Kang Naging Akin," led by Angelika de la Cruz, Wendell Ramos and Maxene Magalona will be at the mall on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. Followers of the top rated GMA 7 soap, "Luna Mystika," will have a chance to meet members of the cast – Mark Herras, Kris Bernal, Luis Alandy and Iwa Moto when they visit the mall at 5 p.m.

A "Kiddie Magic Show" will cap the opening weekend on Sunday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m. During the same day, the cast of GMA-7’s "Gagambino" led by Dennis Trillo and Katrina Halili will be meeting and greeting shoppers at 5 p.m. Nadine Samonte, Polo Ravales and Jennica Garcia will be joining them.

Fun at the new mall continues on Saturday, Dec. 20 as young singing sensation Lovi Poe promotes her latest album under Sony BMG. Not to be missed is the Zoobic Safari Mall Tour featuring guest animals and their delightful tricks on December 18, 19 and 27. There will also be a "Jollitown" get together at SM City Baliwag on December 28 courtesy of Jollibee.
