Kapamilya earns 24 Anak TV Seals

ABS-CBN’s top news anchors, celebrities, and programs dominated this year’s Anak TV Most Favorite Programs and Personalities Awards and earned Anak TV Seals for 24 of its shows, making it the TV station that produces that most popular and child-friendly quality TV shows in the country.

ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs continues its winning streak this year by topping the three major categories. The country’s leading newscast "TV Patrol World" is the Most Well-Liked Program in 2007, while the network’s award-winning news anchors Korina Sanchez and Julius Babao are the Most Admired Female and Male Television Personalities this year.

Anak TV Secretary General Mag Cruz Hatol said the results were based on a poll conducted across the country from February to November 2007. He said, "Much of the ratings game in Manila-centric. We asked around to check the pulse of the people. We wanted to know who and what they like."
