The cool, pine-scented air, gardens of vivid
blooms, view of the majestic Cordilleras and the quiet elegance
of The Manor at Camp John Hay set the mood for an indulgent and
romantic Valentine’s Day celebration.
On the day of hearts, couples can cozy up at
Le Chef at The Manor as they enjoy the passionate strains from
Glen Gaerlan’s guitar or Jun Lopez’s violin. The musicians will
serenade the couples to set the mood for a luxurious dinner.
The restaurant offers a Valentine’s Day
special dinner prepared by Chef Billy King with dishes that
include: US Scallop and Tiger Prawn Salad with Cheese Stick and
Berlinoise Sauce, or Goose Liver and Mushroom Duxelle in Filo
pastry with roasted vegetable and Arugula in Balsamic Creamy
Dressing for starters.
Loves can also enjoy the Roasted US Rib-Eye
in Madeira Sauce or the Chilean Sea Bass, pan seared with the
tangy Pommery Mustard Sauce. Or they can savor the Australian
Lamb Cutlet in Rosemary Jus with shallot and garlic.
The sweet ending is scrumptious desserts such
as: Coupe Romanoff, Chocolate Soufflé Le Chef with Strawberry
Compote and Vanilla Panacotta with Strawberry and Mango Coulis.
Diners also get a glass of Sparkling Wine or Rosé. The
restaurant will also greet the ladies on the day of hearts with
fresh flowers and gourmet chocolates after dinner.
