T'S a pity that
this young and promising actor has gotten himself into big trouble, even before
he made it big in showbiz.
Although everyone agrees he's a good guy, it's obvious that
he has become a drug dependent. And this has affected his personality and
working habits.
No wonder that he's not given any assignment by the network
he's under contract to. This is a pity, since he is the breadwinner in the
family who depends on him.
Friends advised the young actor to stop his drug addiction.
They even suggested that he submits himself to rehab. But he needs to do it
voluntarily, they tell him.
And this is where the problem lies: He seems to like the life
he's leading now.

Is Rayver Cruz the young actor whom Sarah Geronimo is
referring to as her secret admirer?
Well, does this mean, too, that Rayver has finally given up
on Shaina Magdayao, who used to be the apple of his eye?
Shaina is now reportedly the "one and only" of John Prats.
Will Rayver's attraction to Sarah affect his supposed reunion
with Maja Salvador as a love team, via the teleserye, "Anna Liza?"
In the horror series, "Spirits," Rayver and Maja were a team.
But before their tandem could become a hit, Rayver was "pirated" for Shaina.
Although Rayver and Shaina look good together (they are both
tall and good looking), the fans, surprisingly, didn't take to their love team.

Jodi Sta. Maria started her career at a young age. She
married very young, too. She was 23.
She married Pampi Lacson in Las Vegas, Nevada almost four
years ago. They have a son, Thirdy, who is two years old.
She was discovered for showbiz in a doughnut eatery while
waiting for her brother to fetch her.
Her first big break was via the afternoon teleserye, "Tabing
Ilog," where she had for co-stars the likes of John Lloyd Cruz and Paolo Contis,
who are also doing well in showbiz.
When she lived in America with husband Pampi for over a year,
everyone thought it was "goodbye showbiz" for Jodi. But she staged a comeback.
Jodi is getting a lot of attention now, not just for her
looks but also for her acting talent which has improved significantly.
Her specialty: Bida-kontrabida roles. The kind of
roles which have made Marlene Dauden (remember her?) the actress to beat in her
time.
Currently, Jodi is the endorser of the Hype Gluta-C Intensive
Skin Whitening Soap and Lotion, which was recently launched at Ascott Hotel.
"Hype Gluta-C Intensive Skin Whitening Soap, Lotion, Facial
Cream and Make-up complete my beauty regimen," said Jodi at the presscon.
Jodi and her husband, Pampi (by the way, the son of Senator
Panfilo and wife, Alice), have ventured into the condiments business. With some
friends, they have also put up a beauty parlor in Para-ñaque, a franchise of
Bambi Fuentes Beauty Salon.
She has ventured into concert producing, too, with good
friend and TV-radio reporter, Jobert Sucaldito, as her business partner. The duo
is producing "No Borders," a two-and-a-half hour musical concert to be held at
the Metro Concert Bar in West Avenue, Quezon City on February 28, 9 p.m. The
singers featured are Duncan Ramos and Luke Mijares.
Special guests are Edu Manzano, Chocoleit, Chiokla, Peanut,
Ferdinand Valencia, and Rufa Mae Quinto.
Said Jodi, "With concert productions, kikita ka na, makakatulong ka pa sa
mga kapuwa mo artista."
