Fashion’s big story

Juno Quirabo is 5’10" big and buff. Like most big guys, the Biomechanics trainer at Planet Infinity always had great difficulty in shopping for clothes.

"I was really chubby three years ago," he says. My shirt size was 2XL up and my waist line was 38 inches. I decided to loose weight and tone my body." Although his size went down to 1XL and his waist line dropped to 34 inches, he still had a hard time finding clothes that would fit.

Today, the big story for Juno and guys like him who like to live large is that they have more stylish options with the SM Maxwear clothing line. The collection has clothes for work, sports and weekends. Guys can get ready for work in Maxwear’s collection of executive shirts in plain, textured and striped designs. It also has a new collection of executive shirts in 100 percent cotton oxford fabrics.

The Maxwear Active collection gets big guys into the game with its line of jersey tops, shorts, track jackets, and jogging pants. They can also achieve a smart casual look during weekends with short sleeved polo shirts and Ford Mustang Dragstrip and La Carrera prints.

"The Maxwear collection is really a big help," he says. Long before he began modeling for the brand, Juno was already a regular in the area. "There are a lot of choices, and it’s good to know that I’ll find many types of clothes that will fit me."

Juno says the Maxwear Active collection is his favorite because "I can use the stuff in my work since I’m at the gym most of the time." He uses the executive shirts when he goes out for meetings with clients and formal events in the evening.

There’s a lot of room with Maxwear sizes, which range from 1XL to 3XL. Pant sizes are from 34 to 44. It is available at the menswear department of all SM stores.
