Personal enhancement packages

St. Luke’s Medical Center’s Aesthetic Surgery Center now offers its AWSM (Awesome) Good Looks personal enhancement packages which include nose reshaping, aesthetic eyelid surgery and breast enhancement procedures.

The acronym AWSM, which stands for aesthetic, weight and skin management, refers to the awesome look and feeling patients get after receiving quality care. The heads of the three centers are Dr. Lonabel Encarnacion for the Dermatology Center; Dr. René Valerio for the Aesthetic Surgery Center; and Dr. Luisito Llido for the Obesity and Weight Management Center.

The nose reshaping package, technically called rhinoplasty, can involve either the elevation of the nasal bridge, the trimming of the overhanging skin on the wings of the nose, or both. For Asians, the insertion of the patient’s own bone, cartilage or prosthesis is usually done to lift the nasal bridge.

With the aesthetic eyelid surgery package, also called blepharoplasty, the eyes can regain its refreshed look as it takes out the droopiness and bagginess of the upper and lower eyelids.

The breast enhancement package is done to improve the shape and size of a woman’s breast. The procedure is done by the hospital’s aesthetic surgeons whose stringent qualifications and extensive training guarantee high level of successes.

These procedures are done on an out-patient basis, and there is no age limit for the three packages. The procedures can also be given as gifts through the use of St. Luke’s health gift certificates.

St. Luke’s Aesthetic Center is located at the 12/F, North Tower, Cathedral Heights Building Complex. For inquiries, call 723 0101/0301 extension 5207.
