THE battle for the 2012 Miss Universe crown is officially on as online polls open to everyone who intend to vote for the most beautiful girl in the universe.
Janine Mari Raymundo Tugonon, 23, is the Philippines’ representative to this year’s Miss Universe pageant. She is a BS Pharmacy cum laude graduate from the University of Sto. Tomas and a ballerina on the side.
Among the sea of beautiful women at the esteemed international beauty competition, what does Janine think would make her stand out?
“In a competition where everybody is beautiful, sexy and intelligent, I think one’s personality really sets her apart. The genuine me, my life, my story, my purpose are what counts. Yes, beauty, body and trainings are crucial, but at the end of the day, what will truly make me shine is what’s inside of me,” Janine believes.
Online voting is ongoing until Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 6 p.m., Eastern Time. The lady who gets the most votes online will be guaranteed a spot in the semifinals.
