The natural and dewy look without the heavy
makeup is in. Tony Galvez Salon chief makeup artist, Jake Galvez,
perfects the look with the salon’s latest service - airbrush
makeup.
Jake has been certified by TSZ Airbrush
Institute in Taiwan as a pro airbrush artist. He also teaches
professional makeup training at the Tony Galvez School of
Cosmetology.
Hollywood’s secret for radiance and beauty is
achieved through airbrush makeup. As opposed to liquid makeup,
it touches every detail. It is also a corrective beauty cosmetic
for daily wear, glamour, camouflage, and high definition.
Application takes less than half the time of a regular makeup
foundation. Look good while working out for it can also retain
glow and can be sealed with a fixer spray for sweat resistance.
Airbrush makeup is readily available yet few
choose to offer this technology. "The use of airbrush in makeup
has yet to reach its breakthrough, probably because of the
ambiguous technical barriers. Many makeup artists revert to more
traditional makeup techniques, after experimenting with
technically complicated apparatus associated with this
technology," Jake said.
The Tony Galvez Salon team of Jake Galvez and
Buern Rodriguez, both part of L’oréal Professionel’s creative
stylists, collaborated with photographer Niccolo Cosme and
fashion stylist Matt Gozun to showcase this season’s trend and
achieve a fresh innocent look. While Jake applied the makeup
technique, Buern applied caramel tones enhanced by creamy blond
highlights to crimped hair to achieve the look.
