Must-see premieres this July

Get your fill of must-see flicks this July as Hallmark Channel delivers its line-up of primetime movies that both kids and grown ups will surely enjoy watching together.

The Bronx bakery owned by the family of Marco Poloni is on the verge of bankruptcy. In hopes of saving the family business, Marco enters the Golden Whisk Dessert Competition and partners with expert pastry baker Grace Carpenter. But will a scorned rival, a bitter ex-mentor and one jealous boyfriend stand in their way of winning the competition and ruin their blossoming love? A much-awaited reunion for ex-"Picket Fences" co-stars Lauren Holly and Costas Mandylor, the romantic comedy "Just Desserts" airs on July 3 at 10 p.m.

In "Road to Paradise," Timothy Bottoms stars as Mack Cameron, a middle-aged celebrity trying to get back to the success he knew twenty years ago. While Mack works like crazy to stay in the game, movie shoots keep him away from his wife Liz (Meredith Baxter) and two sons for long periods of time. But when a small independent film offers him a role shooting in his old hometown of Littleton, Texas, Mack sees a last ditch attempt to reconnect with his boys and save his marriage. Catch this heartwarming journey into the ties that bind a family together on July 6 at 9 p.m.

The beautiful and dedicated physician Dr. Sydney Ludwick (Lisa Hartman Black) has got everything going for her except for a dysfunctional dating life with an insensitive colleague who's really just a "place-holder" until someone worthy comes along. In need of an escape, she then makes plans to return to her quaint hometown Bloomfield just in time for her 20th high school reunion, where she hopes to come to terms with the past and discover a bright new future. Catch "Back to You and Me" on July 11 at 10:30 p.m.

An intriguing mystery awaits viewers on July 12 at 9 p.m. when bookstore owner Samantha Kinsey goes in search of her birth mother upon discovering a possible hereditary problem with her vision. What follows next is a crime scene discovery that leads her on a quest to prove that her newfound birth mother is innocent of murder. Emmy-nominated actress Kellie Martin and Clarence Williams III stars in this made-for-TV movie "Mystery Woman: At First Sight."

Enjoy a holiday flick on July 26 at 8 p.m. with the premiere of "Holiday in Handcuffs." Melissa Joan Hart plays Trudie, a struggling artist and waitress who gets dumped before Christmas. In her desperate attempt to please her family, Trudie kidnaps her customer Clay Martin (Mario Lopez) to take home for the holidays. The road to kidnapping never runs smooth, but will it end with sad goodbyes just when they start to like each other?
