IREK Joyce Bernal
would rather not talk about the
current status of her friendship with Judy Ann Santos. Although she said that
the two of them are not as close as they used to be, she'd like to believe that
they are still friends.
Her friendship with Judy Ann, according to Direk
Joyce, started when she directed her in her first directorial job, "I'm Sorry,
My Love." The film, which Viva Films produced, co-starred Judy Ann with Onemig
Bondoc.
"I had a good time directing the movie. Kahit pa debut
movie ko iyong matuturing, Judy Ann was not only very cooperative; she
was, likewise, very supportive," Direk Joyce said.
She would have wanted to do some revisions in some scenes in
the movie. But Viva Films' Boss Vic (del Rosario) told her it was no longer
necessary.
The film emerged a blockbuster.
She and Judy Ann went on to do other films together, the last
one being "Don't Give Up on Us."
Do they still see each other? we asked Direk Joyce.
"Yes, we bump into each other in some movie gatherings. She's
civil naman to me. Ga-nundin ako sa kanya.
"One thing I'll treasure most about Judy Ann is that she is a
very good friend," Direk Joyce added.

Thank God for little children who have no idea that because
their parents are celebrities, they automatically become celebrities themselves.
When Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales' twins, Atasha and
Andres, together with their mom arrived at the PICC (Philippine International
Convention Center) to watch their dad's performance at the comeback musical
presentation of Lea Salonga, "Lea Salonga: My Life On Stage," almost everyone's
attention was on them. It was, after all, the twins' fist appearance in public
with a huge crowd like that one at the PICC.
The crowd's reaction startled the twins, naturally. They kept
tugging their mom's skirt asking her why they are being stared at.
All Charlene could do was to advise them to merely smile and
behave. Which they did. In fact, the only time Andres kept jumping up and down
was when Aga joined Lea on stage and did a duet with her of the theme song of
their second movie together, "Sana Maulit Muli."
It was also the twins' first time to see their dad perform on
stage, according to Charlene.

Now that Aga has been an endorser of Sun Cellular for almost
a month, he's more than convinced that it has truly the lowest rate among all
brands of the same kind when it comes to service.
"Sa texting na lang," he said, "puwedeng hanggang
sawa and yet very minimal lang ang gastos.
"But what I do is call up Charlene. Iba na kapag narinig
mo ang tinig even just on the cell phone ng babaeng mahal mo. O, ng mga
kaibigan.
Kaya, kung ako ang boses ng barkada, ganundin ang Sun
Cellular," Aga added.
"Boses ng Barkada" is the current campaign strategy of Sun
Cellular.

Guess who this young star is who frequents the casino and
doesn't mind losing thousands (of pesos).
"Kung sabagay," said our source, "the money naman
doesn't come from his own pocket but from someone who obviously admires him so
much."
His benefactor is so loaded, he/she (we won't specify whether
the benefactor is a he or a she as his/her identity might become too obvious)
doesn't mind spending for him.
Lucky guy, this young actor. 'Di ba?
