What I saw...

Many, many years ago, a young woman asked me if she could go up to our house in Antipolo to ask for counsel. She was single, wanted to get married, and had a few suitors to choose from – all from our church, CCF. I could understand the sense of urgency she must’ve felt to get married. Her body clock was ticking away, and she wanted to have babies.

The second time I met PNoy was in Polo Club, at the anniversary of Malaya Business Insight. He refused to have a special dinner table set up for him. Instead, he went around and mingled with the small group of people who were there. After he gave his speech, he ate and mingled some more -- for hours. Not in a hurry, again. He looked like he was bent on enjoying the evening.

Only twice. I’ve met PNoy only twice. That’s one too few to write about. But I have to. And you’ll see why.
