Color of the Day: Maroon!

IT’S almost March 5. Will you be wearing maroon tomorrow night?

If your answer is yes, then congratulations! You’re one of the lucky few who have scored tickets to the hottest concert in town, "Maroon 5: Live in Manila," a production of Viva Concerts and Events. If your answer is no, well... you’ll surely miss half your life!

Anyway, maroon is definitely the color of the day for those who will be able to see frontman Adam Levine (vocals, guitar) and his bandmates – James Valentine (guitar, vocals), Jesse Carmichael (keyboards, vocals), Mickey Madden (bass guitar), and Matt Flynn (drums, percussion)–in the flesh.

The band is just as psyched as their Filipino fans are for this one-night-only engagement. In fact, while you’re sitting here reading this, they’re preparing to rock the Araneta Coliseum with their hit singles, including "Makes Me Wonder" and "Won’t Go Home Without You," both from their latest album, "It Won’t Be Soon Before Long." Their playlist for their big day tomorrow is also expected to include a cover or two to spice things up.

So if you have a ticket or two, or more, go put on that maroon shirt and go join the other lucky ones at the Araneta Coliseum tomorrow night at 8 for an evening of cool rock music you’ll never forget!

"Maroon 5: Live in Manila" is presented by Smart Buddy and San Miguel Beer and sponsored by Crowne Plaza Hotel, Mentos Blast, No Curfew, Pagcor, PCSO, Petron XTRA, Skechers, and Tommy Hilfiger with ABS-CBN, PBO, MCA Universal, MTV (the official music channel), and Viva Prime Channel.

Its media partners include the Philippine Star, Manila Bulletin, People’s Journal, NU 107, Magic 89.9, RX 93.1, Jam 88.3, 101.1 Yes FM, 90.7 Love Radio, and 99.5 Hit FM.
