ONE of today's most visible movie and
television actress these days is Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson. She
appears in several TV series on ABS-CBN, notably, "Patayin sa
Sindak si Barbara," "Kung-Fu Kids," and "Palos." We've recently
seen her in a couple of indie films, including the highly
praised "Nars" and the buzz is she's got several other projects
already in the bag.
"I've been very fortunate, lately, that
marami akong up and coming projects," says Jodi. Nothing in
the hectic pace seems to faze the young and petite celebrity. In
fact, Jodi, facing the gathering of press people in the recent
launching of Hype Gluta-C products, seems to be just as fresh
and glowing as if she had just emerged from a beauty spa.
"As someone who is constantly in the public
eye, I need to look my best always, kaya nga ang Hype
Gluta-C has been a wonderful addition to my beauty regimen,"
adds Jodi. "I use Hype Gluta-C soap when I take a bath, apply
the lotion before going to bed, and use the facial cream when I
prepare myself in the morning. Simple, 'di ba? It's
fuss-free and yet it has been a very effective skin care regimen
for me."
"Hype's tagline is 'Whitening to the Max! and
I believe them. It really has taken my skin to its maximum
potential for whiteness and smoothness!"
The launch introduced both Jodi and Hype
Gluta-C Intensive Whitening Facial Day Cream to the press. Jodi
is Hype's latest endorser, while Gluta-C Facial Day Cream is the
latest in the Gluta-C product line.
"I would not endorse a product that I did not
believe in, and have not experienced for myself. I have been
using Hype Gluta-C since last year, and I am very satisfied with
it. My skin has become smoother, more even-toned and healthier
since," gushes Jodi.
Married to Pampi Lacson, son of the renowned Senator Ping
Lacson, and a budding entrepreneur himself, Jodi's rising acting
career is balanced by a nurturing family life. Their
two-year-old son, Thirdy, is a precocious kid who always tags
along, even when Mom Jodi is on a shoot. "I don't want to miss a
thing about my son, especially the many 'firsts' in his life,"
says Jodi.
