Sining Sambaydiwa formerly Dulaang Balintataw
is open for membership and invites everyone from kids to grown
ups. Registration for interviews will be held in association
with Teatro Frisco and the chairman and council of Barangay
Damayan from 1-4 p.m. on March 15 at the Third floor of the
Barangay Damayan multi-purpose hall, San Vicente corner Zamora
Sts., San Francisco Del Monte.
Only registrants who will pass the
preliminary interviews will be accepted provisionally and
allowed to undergo the qualifying auditions from 1-4 p.m. on
March 17-19.
The group is offering scholarships to
qualified applicants who are residents of the area and Quezon
district pursuant to its QC Barangay Mobile Theater Outreach
program.
Applicants who pass the auditions will be
accepted as probationary members and will be eligible to
participate in the Theater and Allied Arts Training Course,
primarily in acting for stage, screen and TV advertising,
starting with the Summer Drama Workshops. The graduates will be
regular members of the group and may participate in its various
activities.
