Show features creations by students

The LaSalle College International (LCI) is inviting all fashionistas to watch Style Runway Summer Collection Fashion Show at 4 p.m. on March 16 at the Festival Mall Carousel Court in Alabang City.

To be featured are summer/spring creations of LCI’s fashion design students as modeled by the finalists of Mr. and Ms. Summer Bodies.

The participating students are: LCI alumni Rica Alberto and Pamela Villapando and current fashion design students: Fatima Beltran, Steffi Go, Krislyn Lee, Marge Regala and Karl Sutterlin.

The students are challenged to conceptualize, design, execute and present their own interpretation of the summer wear in line with the multi-dimensional curriculum under the supervision of the school’s main headquarters located in Montreal, Canada.

Prior to the fashion show, there will be an exhibit featuring the projects of the students in styling, photography and artistic make- up at 10 a.m.

A talk on health and fitness and a workshop on fashion illustration and styling conducted by fashion designers Danilo Franco and Edgar Mendoza will follow at 1 p.m.

To help the public understand fashion education and the different careers available within the industry, the school will have a booth with representatives around to assist all interested individuals. It is presented in cooperation with Festival Mall, Slimmers’ World, and Getzmo.com.
