Since LRI Business Plaza opened three years ago, the one-stop lifestyle center has become the hottest hub for home and office furniture, furnishings and interior design accessories.  No wonder, its third anniversary bash was a glittering day-long celebration attended by its long list of clientele and friends.

Dubbed as Purely Sensational, the anniversary bash featured a special exhibit  Women in/on Fiberglass’ by Ernie Garcia at the LRI Art Space and a book launch of I Am A Winner by George Sison at Gallery Astra.

Jeanne Goulbourn of  Silk Cocoon,  mounted a special show Beam Me Up which featured her forward-looking use of hand-woven silk textiles.

Ito Kish’s much talked-about collection of interior accessories  held guests spell-bound.

Designing duo,  Architect Alice Erfe of Erfe Furnishings and interior designer Pinky Cruz-Peralta of the Room Upstairs had visitors in awe with their rendition on how to deconstruct space. Intended for the ultra-modern homeowner, the duo’s Vignettes mixed chic, function and space in ways you’d never imagine possible.

The affair opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the newly-renovated areas and new showrooms. This was followed by a mass Nedy Tantoco of Rustan’s led the guests at George Sison’s book launch. Joining her were Italian Ambassador Rubens Fedele and wife, Cosseta, Loida Nicolas Lewis, Marivic Madrigal Vasquez, Mari Bora, Dr. Rebecca B. Singson of Asian Hospital, Architect Gerry Contreras, Bulgari’s Mario Katigbak, Fe Dixon, DJ Lopez, Tita Munoz who came with Nestor Torre, Dante Silverio, among others.  

Movie/TV star Lani Mercado, wife of Senator Bong Revilla,  was seen at Ernie Garcia’s art exhibit before making a tour of LRI’s showrooms.

Former Education Secretary Florencio "Butch" Abad, who served as congressman from Batanes in the 90s and Isa Lorenzo, fine art photographer of Silverlens Gallery, were special guests at Mandy Navasero’s photo exhibit My Batanes.
