Kim Atienza braves world of unknown

OPEN your mind. Experience the thrill. Discover the unknown.

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind adventure in the world of knowledge together with Kim Atienza in the newest educatio-nal, informative and exciting show "Matanglawin," beginning tonight, March 24.

Join Philippines’ trivia king as he goes around the country to search for new and interesting information, demystify legends, unveil na-ture’s mysteries and at the same time, showcase our vast cultural and natural resources.

"Matanglawin" covers almost all topics– science, technology, the general useful trivia, etc. "It’s like ‘Knowledge Power’ of Ka Ernie but more dynamic and more action-packed," explained executive producer Margie Natividad.

Also, get to meet amazing people as Kuya Kim immerses himself in communities, talking to community-based resource persons with different expertise on various fields.

"You will really be amazed with how talented these Pinoys are. Some of them we haven’t even heard of before. And this is something ‘Matanglawin’ or Kuya Kim will give in this new show," added Margie.

Indeed, a different Kim Atienza will be seen on television as he explores the outdoors with the vantage point of a Philippine hawk – inquisitive, bold and vigilant.

"Tumalon ako dito sa gilid ng mga bundok, nagbisikleta ako, nag-dive ako at naghanap ng susong naka-mamatay sa ilalim ng dagat, humarap sa cobra," Kim shared. "Talagang exciting at adventurous bawat episode ng ‘Matanglawin.’"

On its premiere offering, be prepared and get to know more about the deadliest animals found in the Philippines.

All these and more will be uncovered tonight in the pilot telecast of "Matanglawin" after "Bandila" on ABS-CBN.
