Mark still has soft spot for Jen

A GA Muhlach was in
the US with his wife, Charlene Gonzales, and their twins, Atasha and Andres,
when it was announced that he is this year's best actor in the Guillermo Mendoza
Memorial Awards Scholarship Foundation (GMASF). He was chosen for his
performance in "A Love Story," which pairs him for the first time with Maricel
Soriano and Angelica Panganiban. "A Love Story" is directed by Maryo de los
Reyes and produced by Star Cinema.
"I was in Boracay when I got the report," said Aga, who
arrived March 21, from the US and left March 24 for Boracay with co-star Anne
Curtis and the production staff of the movie, "Waiting for Love," headed by
their director, Joey Javier Reyes.
"Ang saya ko. Parang biglang nawala ang pagod ko dahil sa
balita.
"It's true that when you are awarded for something which you
think you did well, you feel overwhelmed. And I do think I delivered well in 'A
Love Story'."
This best actor trophy is not his first, of course, as he has
had several citations from other awards giving body. From the GMASF, he received
a best actor trophy two years ago for his performance in "Dubai." He also got
several trophies as "Box office King" for his blockbuster movies, including two
with Regine Velasquez: "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" and "Pangako Ikaw Lang." Both were
produced by Viva Films. Incidentally, Viva Films co-produces "Waiting for Love"
with Star Cinema.
The awarding ceremony will be held May 13.
Charlene and their twins are still in Las Vegas, Nevada. They
are coming home next week.
"But they will no longer leave for Los Angeles as originally
planned. Charlene would have wanted to bring the kids to Disneyland as a
graduation gift to them. Nag-graduate sila from kinder before we
left. But we discovered that in Las Vegas, there are numerous fun places for
children. So Charlene and I decided na hanggang doon na lang sila,"
related Aga.
While in Las Vegas, Aga and Charlene had the chance to watch
the Pacquiao and Marquez bout.
Have Roxanne Guinoo and Jake Cuenca reconciled? They were
together in Boracay during the Holy Week.
While they were taping "Palos," their TV series on ABS CBN
which also stars Cesar Montano, reports went around that they have broken up.
Roxanne was supposed to do just a cameo in "Palos," but her
character was asked to return reportedly because Jake's team-up with newcomer
Bangs Garcia did not sit well with the fans of Jake and Roxanne.
"When I left 'Palos,' that's when my relationship with Jake
went kaput," said Roxanne. "No specific reason why.
"Oo, selosa ako," she elaborated. "Pero ganun din
si Jake. Kaya, this never caused any rift between us. Actually,
naghiwalay kami amicably. For the simple reason that we felt we were
suffocating each other na. But we continued communicating through text.
Once in a while, he would pass by my unit and while the time away even if I'm
not around," she revealed. "I'm now taping for a new teleserye."
So, what's the score between them?
Roxanne would rather not comment. Same with Jake.
Take your time, kiddos.
Roxanne's 20 years old, while Jake's 19.
Unlike Joross Gamboa, who made a pronouncement that he does
not want to have anything to do with former girlfriend, Roxanne Guinoo, Mark
Herras doesn't deny he still has a soft spot for his ex, Jennylyn Mercado. He is
not even discounting the possibility that they might reconcile in the future.
It's evident that Jennylyn's current pregnancy, courtesy of
Patrick Garcia, with whom she has broken up, does not bother Mark.
Said a kibitzer, though: "Pero 'yan pronouncement na 'yan ni
Mark ay may kasamang 'if ever.' Kasi, kung as of the moment ang
pag-u-usapan, mukhang talagang nagkakamabutihan sila ni Rhian Ramos." |
