An electronic billboard will soon be seen at the
Makati tower of the Insular Life building.
This is part of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE)
promotion of the stock market.
PSE, Insular Life Assurance Company Ltd., Globe
Telecom and Globaltronics, Inc., yesterday signed an agreement that will
install the giant electronic display board similar to what is seen in
the famous the New York Times Square in the US.
The PSE-Insular Electronic Display Board will mark
the first time in the country’s history that an outdoor electronic
display board will flash stock market information.
Measuring 30 meters in length and 1.5 meters in
height, the P45 million PSE-Insular Life Electronic Display Board will
run the PSE ticker tape, disclosures and other relevant stock market
information.
