Anderson denies there’s a non-showbiz girl in his life. He says if there is one
girl in his life, it is his screen partner Kim Chiu, not only because he wants
to protect their love team, but because he truly adores her.
"Nasa loob pa lang kami ng Bahay ni Kuya, I already
felt something special for her. ‘Di lang because she is pretty but
because she is a good person.
"Lalo kong napatunayan ito when we worked together in
several projects. I’m glad nga that I’d again play her leading man in ‘My
Girl’," Gerard says.
So, what’s keeping him from wooing Kim?
"I think it’s not yet the right time," Gerard answered. "Kim
and I are still too young to be involved in a serious relationship."
Gerald turned 19 last March 7. Kim is 17.

In his two years in show business, Gerald believes he has
accomplished quite a lot. On TV, he is regularly seen in "ASAP." He was also
Kim’s leading man in the teleserye, "Sana Maulit Muli," the fantaserye,
"Cindy-Rella" and the movies "First Day High" and "I’ve Fallen for You."
Gerald also has done dance albums which were hits. He has
also been cited by award-giving bodies last year. He was "Best New Male
Personality" in the Star Awards and the other half of the "Best New TV Love
Team" in the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Gerald’s
partner, of course, is Kim.
He is set to do two new TV commercials, one of which is for
Bench.

We finally had the chance to talk to Brazilian beauty Mariana
del Rio. Mariana was rumored to have been the reason for the rift between Cesar
Montano and his wife, Sunshine Cruz. Of course, Marianna pleaded "not guilty" to
the accusation.
She said she was not aware of the feud she supposedly caused
because she was on vacation in Brazil when reports came out linking her to
Cesar. It was through a text message from a friend in the Philippines that she
became aware of the brouhaha.
She admitted in an interview that she didn’t know what to do
at first. She had even thought of not returning to the Philippines anymore. But
on second thought, she felt she needed to redeem herself.
She has not seen Cesar nor Sunshine since her arrival in the
country.
Now with Star Magic, Mariana performed in a production number
in "ASAP ’08" last Sunday. She performed with the group Full Circle, whose
members she now considers her friends.
She will soon be part of a komiks series with Jon
Avila, Maja Salvador and Jay-R Siaboc.
Earlier there were reports that she would join the new teen
housemates of Big Brother, but this turned out to be false.
"Truth to tell, I didn’t know about that until I got messages
from friends asking me the same question," explained Mariana.

Gretchen Barretto’s album, "Unexpected," unexpectedly topped
the sales chart in Odyssey Record Bars, from March 1 to 15.
