Swim and Nothing But Water launch their Summer 2008 swim and resort collections with a sunset cocktail fashion show at Top Shelf, Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig.

The roof deck affair had guests lounging within an air-conditioned venue, walled in glass, allowing the show to unfold with a panoramic sunset backdrop. Sitting areas indoors and outdoors created a tropical Asian destination furnished and decorated by Home and Beyond, executed by Tessie Floro Bala-guer. Chef Noel Hizon of Restaurant 1004 prepared the culinary treats.

The affair was hosted by Dimples Balaguer la O’ – the woman who pioneered the swimwear chain Nothing But Water and the newly opened Swim lifestyle boutique, –the new brand for designer swim and resort wear.

The show began with emcees Jen la O’, Swim Philippines operations manager with Angelique la O’, online sales manager. Angelique invites guests to view their websites. "The beauty of buying online is the freedom to choose what top and bottom you want. All suits are sold as separates. Your size, your style," says Angelique.

Jen announces the introduction of six labels from all over the world, a three-fold showcase, from Vitamin A by Amahlia Stevens and L Space, two southern California labels which exemplify the surfside Cali lifestyle, and the classic and timeless designs of designer Michael Kors which are available in a complete range of sizes from four to 18. Headlining the show are the three labels of Sophia, Hermanny and VIX, all designed by the famed Brazilian Paula Hermanny.

The show was directed by Jackie Aquino. The 45-piece ensemble consisted of a wide range of suits, cover-ups, dresses, including suits for children, accessories by Swim, shoes from Schu by Ruby Gan and bags by Talimaya.

Swim is located at the Power Plant Mall, Rock-well. Nothing But Water has branches located at Robin-sons Galleria, Glorietta 3, Alabang Town Center, D’Mall D’Bo-racay and Star-shops Center in Cebu City, and in Trinoma.
