DELICIOUS, mouth-watering, and
gorgeous-looking food in 10 minutes or less? It’s definitely
possible with chef/TV host Rosebud Benitez through her brand
new show "Quickfire" on Q-11.
A unique show on Philippine television, "Quickfire"
airs in three ten-minute recipe capsules – noon time,
afternoon, and evening on weekdays. On weekends, it airs once
at 9 p.m.
Each installment of the show will feature
10-minute wonders – dishes that take 10 minutes or less to
cook. Chef Rosebud will do a step-by-step demo of how the dish
is prepared and cooked. "We have a timer on the show," Rosebud
said. "So it really has to be ten minutes or less."
And while Rosebud is whipping up these
wonderful dishes, she will also have a celebrity dinner guest
who will be part of fun dinner conversations in the kitchen.
Guests for the show’s first week include Joyce Jimenez, Tessa
Prieto Valdes, Daphne Oseña-Paez, Dr. Hayden Kho, Suzie
Entrata, and hopefuls from Q-11’s new reality show, "The
Debutante" –Schinina Juban, Samantha Gamboa, Kathleen
Charlaine Hollman, and Baby Charmaine Hollman.
The show is particularly helpful for
working moms and those who have little time to work in the
kitchen as it offers valuable kitchen tips, solutions to food
emergencies, and other time-saving cooking tips. "Quickfire"
makes sure that the cooking procedures won’t compromise the
dishes’ taste and nutritional value.
Prior to hosting "Quickfire," Rosebud was
one of the hosts of Q-11’s cooking show, "Ka-toque." Rosebud
shares the secret to great cooking: "You cook it with love.
That’s the main thing. Everything you do, do it with love."
With "Quickfire," an excellent meal is only 10 minutes
away. Catch it on the following schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and
Friday (11:50 a.m., 4:50 p.m., and 6 p.m.); Wednesday and
Thursday (11:50 a.m., 4:50 p.m., and 7 p.m.); Saturday and
Sunday (9 p.m.).
