Do you know how big dinosaur eggs are? Being
such gigantic creatures, how come their heavy eggs did not crack
upon being laid?
These are just some of the questions commonly
asked in science and history classes tackling the prehistoric
era.
Star City added another attraction bringing
back the prehistoric times. The park has turned Jurassic with 28
life-like dinosaurs on exhibit in a grand educational module
designed to showcase the latest in Korean robotics technology.
Audio-visual presentations and fossil remains
enhance the display at Dino Island, accessed through a time warp
tunnel that transports visitors instantly to the Mesozoic Era
when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Various species of these
magnificent mammals are represented in motion through
specialized animatronix programs.
Visitors will see the Tyrannosaurus Rex,
Brontosaurus, or the Triceratops, but a whole array of these
prehistoric creatures provide a welcome supplement to science
and history classes in grade school and high school, while
enhancing sociology /anthropology courses on the collegiate
level.
Dino Island at Star City is located within the CCP Complex in
Pasay. Park hours are from 4 p.m.-12 midnight Mondays through
Thursdays and 2 p.m. -12 midnight Fridays through Sundays.
