As Mothers lavish their brood with love and attention and create happy homes for their families, they often forget to take care of themselves. She goes around with untrimmed hair, forgotten makeup and even runs in her stockings.

This month, Tony Galvez Salon celebrates the beauty of these women by giving fabulous makeovers for three mothers: Mary Cris, Jeza and Felisa.

Mary Cris, 28, is a mother of one and works as a call center agent. Her ultimate sacrifice was to work the night shift so she could spend a good part of the day with her daughter. Because of this, she hardly has time for a hair cut and always ties her hair up in a ponytail or a bun. Tony and his nephew Jake teamed up to transform Mary Cris into one glamorous Mom. Tony gave her a layered cut and beautiful highlights for volume while Jake evened out her skin tone, and to give her the illusion of larger eyes, applied blue smoky eye shadow. The makeover not only gave her a new look but confidence to go out and meet the world, too.

Jeza Rodrigues, 32, is a full time housewife with three children. Her wish for Mother’s Day was to be given a short haircut that would be pefect for running around with her children. Tony and Jake went to work. Tony gave her a modern short cut with layers to frame her face. Jake evened out her skin tone and lined her upper lids for a very fetching chinita look. Jeza was so excited after the makeover that she rushed home to show off the sexier Jeza to her husband to add more sparks to their wonderful relationship.

Felisa Kho, a full time businesswoman turns 54 this year. She has four children and three grand daughters. She wanted a younger look while keeping her hair short. She got a total makeover that started with a modified version of the modern short hair. Grey hairs were eliminated and gold highlights were put in. Once her hair was set, Jake applied a light foundation and lightened her lips to give her a softer and younger look. Because Felisa was concerned about her chinky eyes, these were brightened up with a semi-smoky shadow and applied luscious lashes. Felisa said that her family barely recognized her and was extremely happy because she looked 20 years younger.
