GREENWICH offers its Overloaded pizzas.
The new Meat and Cheese Overload has layers of Italian sausage,
ground beef, pepperoni, salami strips, bacon, parmesan and
mozzarella cheese; while the Greenwich Special Overload boasts
of three times more premium meats, fresh vegetables and 100
percent mozzarella cheese toppings. Both variants also come in
thin-crust versions that are still guaranteed to fill up even
the biggest member of the barkada.
PRINCE ALBERT at the InterContinental
will hold a French Asparagus Food Festival the entire month of
May. Asparagus spears flown in fresh from France will be paired
off with other choice ingredients in a special a la carte menu
of soups, appetizers and main courses. Among the chef’s
recommendations are: Crabmeat and Asparagus Tartare with Arugula
leaves and Gaspacho dressing; Warm White Asparagus Meunière with
Scallion Croquette and green Asparagus Truffle Salad. These will
be offered for lunch and dinner.
THE LOBBY at The Peninsula Manila
features Comida Corrida South American weekend buffet for
the entire month of May. South America, stretching from
Venezuela down to Chile’s Cape Horn, is a vast continent with
contrasting landscapes, climates, people and cultures, all of
which influence the local cuisine that has evolved over
centuries from the indigenous food modified by colonialists and
immigrants. The buffet will be every Fridays and Saturdays at
6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
