AFTER the success of GMA-7’s initial sinenovela offering, "Sinasamba Kita," comes another blockbuster hit movie turned TV series that will keep the viewers from changing channels. The Kapuso Network delivers back-to-back sinenovela programs with the premiere of "Pati ba Pintig ng Puso?"

Premiering this May 21, this latest sinenovela topbills today’s hottest young teen icons Yasmien Kurdi and JC de Vera. Joining them are Jennifer Sevilla, Kier Legaspi, Marcu Madrigal, Maureen Larrazabal, Chynna Ortaleza, Karel Marquez, Marco Alcaraz, Arci Munoz and Sweet Ramos together with Eddie Gutierrez as the autocratic grandfather and business tycoon, Don Griego.

With director Gil Tejada Jr. at the helm, "Pati ba Pintig ng Puso?" an original Sharon Cuneta-Gabby Concepcion movie, is a story of a young, naive, servant named Jenna (Yasmien Kurdi) who falls in love with her master’s grandson, Aldrin (JC De Vera).

Aldrin, who fled to the United States several years ago to escape his scheming grandfather, returns in the Griego mansion. The manipulative Don Griego is pleased that his grandson, whom he considers as the only heir of his wealth, will finally take over and be in charge of his business empire.

Unknown to the rich aged man, Aldrin comes home to find out what really happened to his sister Mabelle (Chynna Ortaleza), who now stays in an asylum, and not really to follow the orders of his domineering grandfather. The selfish and repressive Don Griego even arranges Aldrin to marry Agatha (Karel Marquez), a daughter of another wealthy businessman, to broaden their business empire.

However, Aldrin, a free-spirited and defiant grandchild who is against all the system and policies of Don Griego, meets Jenna. Jenna is one of the maids in the mansion and is considered as Mabelle’s best friend.

And to spite his grandfather as well as assert his independence, Aldrin convinces Jenna to elope with him under the condition that their marriage will only be on papers. Aldrin believes marrying a servant is something Don Griego will never accept. He plans to use Jenna as his escape goat from being manipulated and controlled by his repressive grandfather. Since Jenna truly likes Aldrin, the servant agrees to marry her master.

But will the domineering Don Griego easily yield to the marriage of his only grandson and heir of his wealth with a servant? What schemes will he take to make Jenna’s life miserable? Will a one-sided love affair withstand the overwhelming defiance of the autocratic patriarch? Will Mabelle be able to come back to her senses and explain the reason why she suddenly stopped talking? And now that she is a Griego, will Jenna stand up against the old man just like her husband or will she allow Don Griego to run her life as well?
