DOT prepares for Japan mission

The Department of Tourism (DOT) is putting together a delegation for a third grand business mission to Japan next month.

DOT Secretary Joseph Ace H. Durano said this year’s mission will be bigger than last year’s 85 delegates.

"The delegates will have pre-arranged meetings with executives and owners of reputable Japanese firms in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka for investments, marketing tie-ups, joint ventures, sales and supply contracts, and other business transactions. A dedicated one-day tourism business exchange between Philippine suppliers and Japanese buyers will be held in Osaka on June 18, Nagoya on June 20, and Tokyo on June 22," Durano said.

"The Philippine delegates may also opt to conduct individual meetings with their clients outside of the PBM proper," Durano added.
