Otto recently launched the Proud Pinoy Shoe
Design Contest. The competition hopes to open doors for
untapped Filipino talent. It is the perfect chance for high
school and college students as well as non-professional shoe
designers to share their vision for local footwear and see their
own masterpiece being sold on Otto’s shelves.
Aside from this honor, awaiting the winners
are prizes that include cash, Otto products, and the chance to
create even more shoe styles for Otto. A grand winner will be
chosen from each of the three categories — high school, college
and non-professional.
The design entry which must exude Pinoy
pride, can be sketched with pencil, crayon, oil, poster paint or
via computer graphics. Entries may be submitted to Black Tie
Event, Room 503-B State Condominium 1, Salcedo St. Legaspi
Village, Makati. Deadline for submission of entries is on June
15. For more details, visit any participating Otto store.
Otto has come a long way from its first free-standing shoe
store with five employees. Since 1979, it has been manufacturing
high quality footwear famed for being comfortable and trendy.
Driven by passion for innovation and Filipino pride, the people
behind Otto continuously strive to deliver only the best. From
the steel toe bulldogs and Indian moccasins that were all the
rage some seasons ago, Otto has not stopped evolving, each
success serving as inspiration to further hone their craft. It
is this enthusiasm for great designs that keeps Otto at the top
of its game. And the shoe brand is taking its quest for the next
groundbreaking style to an entirely new level.
