‘Its operations manager Nancy Go

Karylle replaces Marian
THERE are, at least, two things which Marian Rivera and
Karylle have in common.
They share the same weakness, a man who obviously has all the
qualities of Dingdong Dantes.
Dingdong is Karylle’s ex and Marian’s current squeeze.
Now here comes Blue Water Day Spa, dubbed as one’s escape to
a haven of tranquility, wellness and total pampering. The spa offers therapeutic
massages, revitalizing body scrubs and facials, plus the latest natural face and
body treatments.
Before it was Marian who was the endorser of the health and
fitness firm, but now it’s Karylle who have been chosen as, well, Marian’s
replacement.
"We really change our endorsers every year," said the Blue
Water Spa executive. "In our first year, we had Toni Gonzaga and Brad Turvey.
Last year, it was Marian and Piolo Pascual.
"This year, we partnered Karylle with Akihiro Sato, a ramp
and commercial model who is half-Brazilian and half-Japanese."
We think Akihiro is a cross between Anjo Yllana and Albert
Martinez.

There was a report that Blue Water Day was considering
getting Marian again for another year. However, she allegedly asked for an
increase in her fee.
"Kaya nga na-surprise si Marian when she
learned that she has been replaced by Karylle," our source said.
But Blue Water Day Spa has denied this. Its operations
manager Nancy Go insisted that they have really been eyeing Karylle as their
company’s endorser for sometime.
"Kasi ‘di pa man niya ini-endorse ang
Blue Water Day Spa, dito na talaga siya pumupunta for her beauty, health
and fitness needs," she explained.

How time flies.
Do you know that the first death anniversary of the late Rudy
"Daboy" Fernandez will be on June 7?
"Parang kailan lang, ‘di ba, when we were all mourning
sa chapels sa The Heritage?" said Dolor Guevarra, the talent
manager of Carmina Villaroel, Susan Roces, Sheryl Cruz, and Eric Quizon, among
others, and wife of director Boots Plata, a kababata of Daboy. " In a few
days, babang luksa na nina Lorna (Tolentino, Daboy’s wife)."
Still one of the prettiest faces in local showbiz, Lorna, who
is now in her mid-40s, revealed she has finally accepted the truth that Daboy
has left her and their two boys, Ralph and Renz, who are both in their 20s, for
good.
"Masakit, ha," she told friends. "But you also have to
realize that life has to go on."
Keeping herself busy has served as a therapy for LT. She has
been working without let up since she decided to sign up with ABS-CBN.
She has been guesting in almost all ABS-CBN shows, the last
was her one-week stint in the top-rating series, "May Bukas Pa." She played a
mom who thought all along that she has found her missing son in Santino (Zaijan
Jeremillo), only to be disappointed.
Right now, Lorna is preparing for the taping of a new
teleserye which will co-star her with Gabby Concepcion, Kristine Hermosa,
Jericho Rosales and John Estrada.
She is set to do a movie before the year ends for Star
Cinema, co-starring with Gabby Concepcion, Angelica Panganiban and Kim Chiu.
Last Sunday, she hogged the limelight at the re-launch of the
beauty clinic Flawless. She stole the thunder from the other endorsers like
Alyssa Alano and Yasmien Kurdi.
The new television commercial of Flawless was unveiled during
that event.

Now it can be told that the romance between Billy Crawford
and Nikki Gil is getting serious.
Not only because they have publicly admitted their love for
each other, but because they seem no longer conscious of displaying in public
their affection for each other.
Happily, they look good together. And there is an unmistakable chemistry
between them when they perform together in their Sunday musical show "ASAP…Live"
on ABS-CBN. |
