Star Magic has its very own "Zohan," the character Adam Sandler played in his last comedy flick, in Pica Lozano. Sandler’s Zohan is a tough, ass-kicking Mossad agent whose secret desire is to style hair so he fakes his own death to be able to pursue his dream in New York. Star Magic Batch 16’s Pica is tough alright and kicks ass when it comes to the arts. He is into painting, sculpting, singing, dancing and acting. He is also into hairstyling. Actually, it’s his friends who call him Zohan. These are the friends who have had their hair done by the 19-year-old maverick who reminds one of a young Jericho Rosales.

Pica, named after famous artist Pablo Picasso, trained in the Frank Provost school in Makati. His main influence though is his father, a senior Frank Provost hairstylist who trains the young man. Pica is serious about what he considers a profitable hobby and has experienced cutting hair even for a cancer patient who is undergoing chemotheraphy. Recently he attended a make-up seminar by Body Shop to further his training.
