Redefining urban living spaces

Modern high-rise living that places equal emphasis on elegance, function, and versatility characterizes the spaces offered at the residential tower dubbed as The Exchange Regency.

The develoipment’s showroom presented model units created with functional features, visual aesthetics and good feng shui elements. Chosen to breathe life into the interiors are Lor Calma Design, Inc. and Asuncion Berenguer, Inc.

"The design firms came up with a minimalist layout that conforms to the modern theme of the tower, but is softened and made more interesting with the generous use of details, proportions, textures, and colors," said Nobleland Ventures general manager Jonas O. Senia.

The one-bedroom unit designed for a younger occupant, has bright and airy interiors made more dramatic with the use of cool colors such as cream and brown. Apart from installing hanging lamps, the unit has crisp lines and more spacious floor areas that can perfectly accommodate mobile lifestyles and even small group gatherings.

Balance between function and aesthetics is also achieved in the kitchen area, which instead of being partitioned separately was made a part of the unit’s living space. Thus, the owner is introduced to open counters and unified color schemes that blend naturally into the overall design.

The two-bedroom unit for start-up couples with two kids, has warmer, textural touches. The spacious kitchen complements the charming dining section and is appropriate for a family that shares meals while spending quality time together.

For the children’s bedroom, playful streaks of blue, green, and yellow are offered as cheerful contrasts to the predominantly cream room scheme. A double-decker and functional sofa beds, meanwhile, were provided for the young ones.

Model units for the one-bedroom loft and combined units, meanwhile, reflect the opulent lifestyle of those who want to maximize the advantages of more livable space. The one-bedroom loft exudes class, height, and modernism through its ample living and dining spaces and at the same time provides more privacy as the second level serves as a private haven.

Accentuating the residential units’ luxurious living spaces is the meticulous integration textures. Soft, earth-toned fabrics are chosen as long draperies to frame the wide windows and vertically complement the units’ high ceiling. For a classy floor treatment, neatly settled underneath the cushioned wooden furniture pieces are plush fitted carpets for added warmth.

Also blending seamlessly with the residential units’ minimalist look is the ingenious use of clean, sensual lines along with contemporary architectural shapes, abstract curves, and occasional tapestry works. These, together with feng shui’s principles of proportion, balance and placement of elements and the meaningful utilization of purity of line and aesthetic sense of beauty showcase The Exchange Regency’s Zen-like fluidity.

Designed by ASYA Design Partner, The Exchange Regency, which is scheduled for completion and turn-over in December 2010, is set to rise on a three-corner property at the convergence point of the Exchange Road, Meralco Avenue and Jade Drive. For a preview of what The Exchange Regency has to offer, visit the Nobleland Ventures, Inc. showroom along Julia Vargas Ave., between San Miguel and Meralco Avenues, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
