Glimpses of Macau

Mallgoers and photography enthusiasts had the chance to get ‘Glimpses of Macau’ during a photo exhibit at The Podium.

A joint project of the Macau Government Tourism Office-Philippines, the Federation of Philippine Photographers (FPPF), and The Podium, the exhibit showcased Macau as one of the most dynamic tourist destinations in the world where the nation’s spirit is alive in its many cultural, historical, and religious attractions, as well as sports and culinary festivals throughout the year.

Glimpses of Macau featured the city’s colorful life, capturing interesting perspectives on what makes the country an attractive tourist spot today. There is always an event to anticipate each month of the year in Macau as well as spots of tranquility and repose in the temples, gardens, museums, plus it’s many urban retreats.

A festive opening ceremony marked by a Lion and Dragon dance marked the exhibit’s opening. Narz Lim, Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) general manager and Jet Cabusay, MGTO marketing director joined the celebrations, as did Keppel Properties vice presidents Lee Foo Tuck and Alex Kuriniawan. FFPF photographers Edi Huang, Andy Dee, Jacinto Tee, Voltaire Burgonio, Sly Samonte, Danny Soriano, Socorro Solvinio, and Lito Beltran were also present.

The Glimpse of Macau exhibit will also be showcased at the SM Megamall later this year.
