HP launches wireless printers

Forget about wires and set up when printing documents and photos at home.
Hewlett Packard (HP) Philippines has launched wireless printer that allows photos and data from personal computer, laptop and mobile phones to be printed via wireless fidelity (wifi) and Bluetooth connections.
The latest printer is expected to further strengthen the HP printer business in the Philippines according to Gizelle Villacorta, HP Philippines market development manager consumer category.
The new series of printers are expected to be available in the market by the end of October or early December.
"Our target market is the family, home users who are looking for wireless connectivity," she said.
In addition, wireless printers are perfect for the on-the-go, connected families who need a printer that can handle the entire household’s needs – from everyday documents to photos. The printer has TouchSmart control panel which allows users to view, edit and print lab-quality photos without connecting to a PC.
The products can go for as low as P5,000 to P 10,500.
The HP Photosmart Premium All-in-One can print, scan and copy solution. It has a built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet capabilities— a complete connectivity for users who want to print from virtually anywhere in the home from notebooks, PCs and mobile devices.
The TouchSmart control panel has a large 3.45-inch touchscreen allowing users to view, edit and print lab-quality photos without connecting to a PC. Its suggested retail price is P 10,490.
It is also designed with the environment in mind as it reduces energy use by more than 25 percent over the previous model and features paper-saving options such as automatic two-sided printing.
Another product is the HP Photosmart Plus All-in-One which has 2.36-inch HP TouchSmart control panel that allows users to rotate and crop, adjust brightness, or apply color effects before printing. The suggested retail prices is P 7,990.
With built in wifi support, this solution enables printing from wireless-enabled PCs and even the Apple iPhone and iPod touch.
HP Photosmart C4680 All-in-One Series is a versatile, intuitive printing system that makes at-home scanning, copying and printing simple and convenient.
It also has HP TouchSmart frame. HP Photo Print Gadget helps save time and avoid errors by allowing users to drag and drop photos to a desktop icon from virtually anywhere on a PC. Suggested retail price is P4,990.
HP Photosmart C4780 All-in-One Series combines wireless print, scan and copy functionality into one compact solution. It delivers lab quality photos, everyday prints, copies and photo reprints—all without a PC—using the HP TouchSmart Frame. With convenient memory card slots, laser-quality text output and Windows Live Photo Gallery software, this offers customers an ideal wireless printing solution at an affordable price. It costs P6,490.
