And this is the theme of Dingdong’s latest Gran Matador Brandy commercial that also features on-screen partner Marian Rivera.

"Of course, if I would have a daughter, I would want her future boyfriend to go through that process. Maaring hindi yan pormal na pag-uusap ng tatay at isang manliligaw pero iba pa rin kung hihingin mo ng pormal yung kamay ng babae sa mga magulang n’ya at magpapaalam ka," Dingdong explained.
