CDO launches 'Go Idol,
Go R3' campaign

CDO Idol Cheesedog has launched their new environmental awareness program for kids called Go Idol, Go R3. This project is a multi-pronged values-formation for kids geared towards encouraging them to live out the R3 principles - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

Aired on GMA 7's show Art Angel, CDO developed a segment to demonstrate how various common household considered as garbage can be easily transformed by kids for new purposes. An empty, disposable water jug received new life as a recycled garbage can or flower pot.

"A bright future begins with the youth," says Neo Patawaran, Brand Manager of CDO Foodsphere Inc. "Ang mga bata kasi, likas na malikhain (Kids, you see, are naturally creative) and we want to encourage them to channel their creativity into more environmenta-related projects so they can become aware and responsible at an early age. We at CDO believe in children's ability to contribute in the protection of the environment so that the next future generation will have something to enjoy."

The activities hope to inspire in children a more caring attitude towards the environment while empowering them to lead.
